O Holy night the stars

O Holy night the stars are brightly shining:
It is the night of the dear
Saviours Birth

Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
From yonder breaks a new and Glorious morn
Fall on your knees,
O hear the angel voices

O Night Divine, O Night, when Christ was born
O Night, O holy Night,
O Night Divine

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming
Here came the wise men from oriental land
The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our Friend.
Fall on your knees,
O hear the angel voices

O Night Divine, O Night, when Christ was born
O Night, O holy Night,
O Night Divine
